MY MODEST PROPOSAL INVOLVING ISSUES BROUGHT ABOUT BY THE GENERATION commotion IN THE SOCIETY.
I right this proposal to bring intimately the awareness of the issues brought about by the coevals gap in our society in Kenya. I would as well ilk to create awareness of how it hinders productivity amongst citizens whether young or old. This generation gap has created misunderstanding thus conflict amongst the immemorial and the juvenility. The spring chicken therefore instead of observing their elders as mentors they despise and inattention them. They therefore turn to figures famous in the entertainment labor from the west whose ways of life are in no way exemplary. Taking these figures as their mentors causes them to end up as violateures in the long run.
One of the issues brought about by the generation gap includes misunderstanding between the elderly and the youth. The youth do not understand why their elders are against authoritative things that they do and they therefore go ahead to do those things. They later progress to to suffer the harsh consequences of their actions. The elderly as well fail to understand why the youth want to do certain things only to later discover that it would have been best for them. The youth therefore lack their elders wise guidance and the elders fail to violate the youth the withstand they need to succeed.




Another issue is that the elderly want to take full control of the youths lives by making decisions for them. Parents do not allow children to make their own choices found on their views and opinions and as well do not support the decisions their children make. As a result the youth live their elders dreams kind of their own. They do not get an opportunity to practice independency and rarely end up successful.
Another issue is the capital difference between the elders beliefs and traditions as compared to that of the youth. The youth have been assimilated to the occidental way of living and they therefore have adopted remote beliefs and traditions.
