When I was suave in high school, I didnt really arrive any career of choice in my mind. Back then, I let everything in my life happen spontaneously, and I in force(p) go with the flow. As happy-go-lucky as it may seem, I always believe that this is the very reason why I am here in UST as a BS biota student. And I am still thankful, because it is in BS biological science where I realized that I really am for science.
It is quite ironic that I applied for admission to UST cream up BS Accountancy as my first choice. And yes, BS Biology is just my second option. But in every university that I applied for, there is always BS Biology among the choices (but it was never my first, though). Perhaps it was a calling that I at long last gave up my slot for BS Accountancy and chose Biology instead. And at that very moment, I pictured myself as a Biology student, and I see myself better that way. I always conceit that it wouldnt be too hard for me since Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics involve always been my strengths in high school. But more importantly, I have always shown great interest in larn anything that is related to science. And so, here I am, staying strong in my one- tierce year as a BS Biology student.




The third year of BS Biology has always been dreaded by students, simply because here is where the real deal starts: Biostatistics, Organic Chemistry, comparative Vertebrate Anatomy, General Physics, Biochemistry, Histology, and of course, Biological Techniques, or simply Biotech. I have always wondered way back in our BIO101 and BIO102 science lab classes how they were able to produce thin sections of plant and animal organs. I never knew how until I was about to take up BIO310L, or Biotech.
