Why I chose the new-fashioned Courts electronic Monitoring Division for my Internship
I chose to do my internship at Spokane recent Courts in the Electronic Monitoring Division. I chose my place of internship because I enjoy twisting with children and I ultimately would like to work as a Child Psychologist. After interviewing with the Electronic Monitoring Probation Officer I knew that I would be working with adolescents and would be able to support them, so I was confident that the Spokane Juvenile Court Electronic Monitoring Division was the right see for my place of internship.
What I Learned About Electronic Monitoring
I well-read many things during my internship. One thing I learned a lot about is Electronic Monitoring. Electronic observe is a program that the government created in order to help lower the population of jails, in this case juvenile detention. He explained that electronic monitoring is a relatively new artifice that is nowadays used in a variety of cases otherwise than juvenile monitoring, such as day programs for convicts and for adults on parole. Electronic monitoring has a high success rate and is now used around the world, such as the United nation and Canada.



Electronic monitoring can be used in most any circumstance where an offender is allowed probation during their parole. The courts see it as that although the person is not in a prison mobile phone they are constantly being supervised. When an adolescent is not in detention they are able to go to school, counseling, programs like elicit management or drug and alcohol, work if they have a job, as well they are able to go to required appointments such as a doctor, dentist, or optical appointment.
