Malcolm X was one of the most well spoken black men in his era, Malcolm X explains

That quickly failed once he realized he couldnt get past the first few sentences without
mistaking it for another language. He knew he had to start from square one. Malcolm x
starts to learn some words he couldnt even write in a straight line.



He began copying
words and started to read his own handwriting. He copied all the content from the
dictionary, and reviewed them everyday. By doing that, not only had he taught himself
the vocabulary, he had also learned how to write fast and accurately. Also, from the
readings, he learned the ideas of other people, history, archeology, religion, genetics,
and other kinds of knowledge that he couldnt learn from school.

Malcolm x begins to read books from the prison library, a variety of classes were taught
there by instructors were he attends classes. He read more books in his means than the
