The french and Indian War that lasted for seven old age was indeed a monumental triumph, and pride for both England and the colonies. That harmony however did not last. Britain was now the king of a striking conglomerate, but it would soon come to pass the massive debt that had been acquired in the process. Britain did not waste any time preparing to reduce the dept and join on control over the colonies. There was an afterglow of a great advantage but it could not hide a developing rupture between the mother and her children (colonies). British efforts to tighten controls throughout the empire included passing of the Stamp Acts, Townshend Acts, Tea Acts, and Coercive Acts.
The French and Indian struggle was not about the French and the Indians. The war involved the countries of Prussia, Austria, Sweden, England, France, and Great Britain. The war was played out though in America, Europe, and India. This war was eventually called the Seven Years War. The preceptrs of Austria, Sweden, and French were allied with each other to fight the rising strength of Fredrick the Great, the King of Prussia. England and France were in conflict over who will rule the colonies in the new Americas, India, and the Caribbean Islands. As it was known the English prevailed in the Americas.
