But she never complained nor lost composure and the say-so to find work to choke . She was a laborious cleaning lady teaching her little girl the Tibetan tradition condescension the threat for immediate imprisonment and interrogation under single-foot by the Chinese government . My mother kept her cultural heritage and handed it down to me with the deep belief that it is a part of who we areWhen our lives were constantly exposed to danger , mother along with a group of people decided to literally bye from Tibet to India even at the risk of readting jailed in Nepal . Mother never complained trekking at night . She carried me in her amount of money and in her arms . I am to be chuck up the sponge from witnessing more bloodbath .
I knew mother had to be strong because of me I was her life , her inspiration that made her endure the strain of times and battle against desperation . She never surrendered her will to survive . She hoped to regain independence and freedom in another footing even in a slow manner . I learned a lot from what I witnessed mother had make . Although I gained knowledge from what she taught me about literature and history , art and culture , beliefs and religion , I learned more from what I saw in her struggles . I felt her determination to fling me a better life and her unfailing love to harbor me from the memories and the pain of the pastI know Tibetans continue to struggle to regain their land , their identity , and their culture in a nonviolent representation . I guess mother was one of those who pray for this also . I learn how to rely in prayers , work for our blessings , human face forward in the future and exercise great perseverance to achieve a new life . Mother s efforts never failed me .
