Eth125 Journal Entry of a Subordinate Group Member My anatomy is Maria Rodriguez I was born in Guadalajara Mexico. I came from Mexico to the States at the age of 5years old, with my mother and father and two sidekicks Jose and Julio. My family moved to Los Angeles California when we just arrived in the States from Mexico. The Mexican heritage go back to when Spain conquered and colonized the ground which was named New Spain but eventually became Mexico as the colony gained liberty in 1821. The history of my culture started more than four degree centigrade years ago from many parts around the linked States. With our history going back to amidst 1846 and 1848 when my country was neighbors with the States then we went to contend, the war was almost over when we lost approximately half of our territories to America. My culture lived in a few states which at one time belong to us which we lost by the end of the war such as Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. From the war to independence my country struggle to develop ways of having a governmental frame which they panorama would allow them peace and stable power when transaction with other countries on a national level.

My Mother Estella Rodriquez was a homemaker and my Father Juan Rodriguez worked as a farmer or sometimes many other dead end jobs to submit a home for us. So the treaty between U.S and Mexican war had ended with a signed treaty on 2 February 1848, this is the oldest treaty still in force between Mexico and the United States. It was fractious living in Mexico and my parents thought by bringing me and my brothers to America we would live the all American trance we needed but it was so hard. Not being from present assimilating to the American culture because of the language barrier was hard but my father work so hard and thought my family that being in another country for a let on living we would have to adapt to the living.
