Recruitment procedures will involve contacting doctors handling athletic injury cases and asking them for a list of those patients who meet all subject selection criteria, including age criteria, the availability of arthroscopically-proven injury data, the fact that the injury occurred less than three weeks prior to the scheduling of surgery and the former(a) inclusion criteria just listed.
