Kathy was browsing
through some Internet games when she came across an interesting site
that provides free game playing for some period of time after which
the permission expires and one is expected to pay so as to get a full
version of their favorite games. Among the games she gained interest
with were cars and bikes, here a set of bikes are set by default and
one bike is set for the human player to compete against the computer.
Since I was on vacation and had well enough time at my disposal she
chose the car racing game. It had eleven cars.
She played with a red
smart one racing against the other ten. So we raced along a smooth
runway which gave way to woodlands, making the game more and more
enjoyable. It was quite hard at first to win a race against the
machine and I stopped to pause for a second to check out the tricks
she easily uses to get a chance to top three. Then a thought crossed
my mind, since there was a junction at some point and several roads
branching from it, she chose to change the route she was used to
taking and decided to follow a different one.
So I decided to use the
road not taken
though it was rough and muddy and I was scared of losing the game
again. That route made the difference coz she was right, this time
round she won the race and she was proud of herself. Five years down
